Pittsburgh-based Deeplocal sets its sights on West Coast with new hire and search for creative and business development talent

Pittsburgh, PA, September 6th, 2017 — Award-winning marketing innovation studio Deeplocal is expanding their creative and strategy leadership and looking for talent in San Francisco and LA—beginning with the hire of Chelsey Susin Kantor as Director of Creative Strategy. Based out of San Francisco, Kantor will be responsible for building and deepening relationships with brands and existing clients and providing strategic vision and guidance on marketing innovation work. The announcement comes on the heels of Deeplocal’s acquisition by WPP, the world’s largest communications services group, in April.

Kantor joins Deeplocal from Google’s Global Brand Studio, where she provided thought leadership and drove the development of engaging experiences in the role of Senior Brand and Creative Strategist. Prior to that, she also had roles at Google as Product Marketing Lead for Google Play Books and Newsstand and G+ Brand Partnerships Lead. Previous roles also included Strategist and Planning Director for top agencies including Campbell-Ewald, Riney, AKQA and Mullen. Her work has been recognized as best in class by the One Show, Cannes Lions, Shorty Awards, Clios and the D&AD Pencil.

“This has been a year of milestones and growth for Deeplocal—including our ten-year anniversary, our acquisition by WPP, and now this important step of building a greater presence on the West Coast,” said Deeplocal CEO and Founder Nathan Martin. “Pittsburgh will always be home, but as we continue to evolve, it’s exciting to be building an on-the-ground team in other cities for the first time. We’re thrilled to be welcoming Chelsey to the Deeplocal family; her creative talent, perspective, and experience make her a valuable contributor and an excellent representative of our team and work to the West Coast.”

Deeplocal is currently looking for creative teams or individuals (strategists, designers, marketing consultants, creatives, artists, writers, and makers)—as well as client service and business development professionals—to join the team in San Francisco and LA. To apply, email
